This is my map Triad which was made for EV.io a first person browser shooter. This was a fun map to work on and it was interesting to see it evolve over the process and yet it still stayed pretty close to the original sketch. I created this map from concept to final integration working on all aspect of the map including concept, level design, modeling, collision, and lighting. The map was built in Unity and then was exported into our engine that was using Three.js so that we could make the game run as efficiently as possible within the browser. All the render are from the Three.js engine. One thing that changed during development is we were originally planning on having baked lighting for all of our maps which is what you see in these renders. As we got closer to release we decided to scrap that to keep the map file sizes much smaller so that load time were more manageable and it was more accessible to a wider audience.
